What Happens When You Take the Kids Off the Map?
Raising Kids With a Taste for Adventure
This week on St. Johnsbury Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram’s Outdoor Edge, we’re heading into the far north for an adventure built around wilderness, family, and a canoe.
Gary Moore talks with Will Staats, a retired New Hampshire Fish and Game wildlife biologist and lifelong outdoorsman from Victory, Vermont. Will is well known throughout the Northeast as an antler shed hunter and an avid hiker, but this conversation takes us into some truly remote country. Will shares stories from the canoe expeditions he took with his children into the far north, the challenges they encountered, and the memories that remain now that his children are grown.
Then, for our Fall Family Fun Report, Josh visits R&L Archery in Barre and talks with Sanborn about archery, getting started in the sport, and what newcomers should know.
